AOMEI Partition Assistant is worth your trust

AOMEI Partition Assistant is an excellent disk partition management software which is available in Standard, Professional and Server versions. It is a well-known and recognized product in its field that offers a rich set of useful features including increasing or shrinking partition size, creating, deleting, formatting, merging, splitting or copying partitions as you like. What is more, the software allows creating a bootable Windows 10/8/7 USB drive without being a user of Windows 10/8.81. Enterprise Edition user.

Disk partitioning software can be extremely useful as it allows dividing disk into several regions so that they could be managed separately. Having several partitions on the computer also comes in handy when reinstalling Windows OS – one for system files and other for your personal files. By having several partitions, you can also choose data to backup easier.

AOMEI Partition Assistant is a lightweight and easy-to-use tool with a wide set of functions.

AOMEI Partition Assistant Review (Free and Paid Editions)

The Standard Edition overview

AOMEI Partition Assistant Standard Edition is a free version of the software which provides all the useful disk partitioning functions a general user would need. Besides, the tool is extremely easy to use as it includes step-by-step wizards to accomplish each task. The list of features is provided below.

Features included in the free version

  • Allows resizing, moving, merging, cloning, creating, wiping, deleting and formatting partitions;
  • Disk Copy Wizard;
  • Partition Copy Wizard;
  • Windows To Go Creator;
  • WinPE Bootable Media Creator;
  • Integrate to Recovery Environment;
  • Change Partition Type ID;
  • Convert data disk to MBR;
  • Rebuild MBR;
  • Convert File System between FAT32 and NTFS;
  • Migrate OS from MBR disk to MBR SSD or HDD.

First of all, we’d like to mention is the extremely easy-to-use and user-friendly interface of this free partition manager. You can easily access the tools you need straight from the main window. The Wizards will guide you through the procedures with ease even if you aren’t an experienced user – there is a lot of useful notes and suggestions available.

In addition to its user-friendly interface, AOMEI Partition Assistant allows you to plan tasks and executes them in your given order only after you press Apply. Therefore, if you notice a mistake you made, you can always discard or undo the planned changes.

AOMEI Partition Assistant doesn’t apply changes until you choose to do so.

You can easily resize partitions by entering any value you want, and you can also assign free space from one partition to another. It also allows moving the partition easily.

What’s also great about AOMEI Partition Assistand SE is that it gives you an opportunity to extend system partition without rebooting the PC.

The most noteworthy feature that deserves attention is called Windows To Go. Originally, Windows to go was a feature available in Enterprice editions of Windows 8/8.1/10. The feature was supposed to allow booting and running Windows OS from USB devices certified as compatible by Microsoft. AOMEI Partition Assistant allows installation of Windows system on USB or removable hard drives. You can also do the same with your current system. This allows booting your OS from any computer, no matter where you go.

Another thing we really liked about this tool is that it doesn’t insert annoying “Buy Premium” ads that other freeware tools tend to showcase on the main window. In addition, it doesn’t display any third-party ads as well. You won’t find no intrusive banners in it, so that’s a big thumbs up from us.

AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional review

Aomei Partition Assistant Professional is a paid version of the disk partitioning software that adds even more features to the existing product. The product costs $39.95 without Lifetime Upgrades. If you want to add this option, the price increases to $47.95 (promotion price). The regular price listed on the website is $54.95.

With the premium version, you can perform all partitioning tasks faster, as well as access the full pack of features including migrating OS between MBR, GPT SSD and HDD freely, converting system or booting disk between MBR and even more. The full list of features is presented below.

The Professional features pack

In addition to features listed in the Standard Edition, this version adds:

  • Safe conversion between dynamic disk to basic and vice versa (without data loss!);

  • Business Use included.

The license for AOMEI Partition Assistant Professional allows you to use the software on 2 PCs at a time. Although these features might not be necessary for regular PC users, you get a nice pack of features for a fair price.

We would like to add our two cents and warn computer users looking to install the Professional version for free. If you are looking for Aomei Partition Assistant Professional Edition crack, please be aware that by doing so you not only infringe AOMEI’s copyrights, but also put yourself in danger for STOP/DJVU ransomware attack.
